Todd White claims the cross of Christ shows us how special and valuable we are since God gave His Son to purchase us, but the Bible doesn't present the cross in this way. Christ died for our sins, not because of our intrinsic value, but because Yahweh is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness. He chose to redeem wicked sinners to show forth His glorious grace.
