The recent release of the Cessationist film, along with next year's Cessationist conference has gotten numerous people talking, and it has ruffled some feathers. There has long been both friendly and unfriendly debate between continuationists and cessationists concerning the gifts. However, the claim from some is that cessationism is a doctrine of demons and is even heretical. A prophet has also claimed to have a prophetic word concerning this film and conference.
