Paul calls us to be devoted to God in prayer. True devotion is prescribed in the Bible according to God’s ordained means. A key passage about drawing near to God in prayer is Hebrews 4:16. Every Christians needs to be bold and clear about the gospel. We also need to speak the gospel graciously so as not to give needless offense. God will use the preaching of the gospel to save those who are His elect but have not yet heard.
