What is the standard of truth for the born-again believer in Christ? Undoubtedly, the answer to this question should be the written Word of God. Though Scripture is recognized as God's Word, there are beliefs and practices that seem to lower this standard upon which we are to rest. Extrabiblical revelation and experiences are elevated to a high position with potential abuse and even neglect of God's Word and instruction. Holding a high standard of the Bible is vital for those who are in Christ.
Join me as I discuss the necessity of holding a high Scriptural standard in comparison to the current trends and practices in the hyper Charismatic movement with my friend and sister in Christ, Emily Massey.
