Join Sean DeMars in a conversation with Doug Wilson and Joe Rigney from Canon Press, as they discuss Federal Vision, the Moscow Mood, Ligon Duncan, the Embargo, mass communication, and... The sin of nuance?
Note: In the past year, the Room for Nuance podcast has faced some controversy due to some guests Sean Demars has promoted or interviewed, including Tim Keller, Ligon Duncan, and Doug Wilson. For those who have concerns about our endorsement of certain individuals, it's important to remember that this is Sean's podcast (he chooses the guests). We value his ability to interview people with whom he may not fully agree. We also exercise this practice in our AG films.
Engaging in direct conversations with those we disagree with can help us accurately represent their positions, fostering a spirit of humility rather than the hostility often promoted on social media. However, there is also a danger when speaking with someone in person with whom we have serious disagreements. The person we're critiquing could potentially downplay their disagreements, engage in damage control, or double-speak. We urge everyone to exercise discernment, and not to accept everything we, or anyone else, says as truth without testing it with the Scriptures.
