As Believers living more than 2000 years after the life of Christ, we need to remember that the witness of the Old Testament is vitally important to our faith. Our confidence in Jesus as the Messiah will be greatly strengthened if we pay attention to what was said about Him centuries and millennia before. Jesus is exactly who the Scriptures told the people of God to expect. We can take comfort in this and know that Christ is who He says He is.
