On Friday September 26, 2024, Hurricane Helene touched land in Florida as a category 4 hurricane. What transpired in the hours and days to follow since has been unimaginable devastation in the Appalachian area of the United States. Historic and unprecedented and destructive flooding and mudslides have resulted in the loss of homes, livelihood, and lives for countless people. Prior to this disaster, a well-known self-professing prophet and "weather warrior" took to the airwaves to declare that this hurricane would come to nothing before it even touched land.
Join me as we discuss this tragedy and how we can be encouraged by the Lord and by His Word. There is also a list of resources below where you can help those in need during this time. (Note: this is not an exhaustive list. There may be other organizations out there who are also assisting those in need during this time.)
