They speak on why we are not to be swayed by persuasive arguments and academic knowledge but hold fast to the Word of Truth alone.

Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.” 2 Timothy 1:12-14
