Ladies, join Brooke and Erin as they work through 2 Timothy 1:12-14. They discuss what it means to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, what that means in context of the verse, and what is to be guarded for the day of Christ’s return. The ladies also talk about the treasure entrusted and the attacks we are seeing that are coming from outside as well as inside the church. They talk about the importance of following the pattern of sound words and how Paul exhorted Timothy to hold to the truth and preach Christ alone. Erin and Brooke talk about being justified by faith alone in Christ and not adding to the gospel. They speak on why we are not to be swayed by persuasive arguments and academic knowledge but hold fast to the Word of Truth alone.
“But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.” 2 Timothy 1:12-14
