Baptism is a means of grace that reminds us that we died with Christ and have resurrection life. A baptism is a public proclamation of the gospel. In cases of necessity it is not required that a church official be present. We show that though elders often baptize new believers it is something that any believer could do and is therefore part of the priesthood of every believer.
