Former gang member now pastor - Emeal Zwyane EZ Testimony
WATCH a bonus clip not included in the video: https://anchorednorth.org/initiated-a...
This video tells the story about EZ's search for status and acceptance. From joining the Crips gang at fifteen years old to signing highly coveted contracts with the rap industry's top producers, there was nothing he wouldn't do to "be cool."
As you watch this testimony about God's transforming grace, be reminded of the 1 million plus juvenile gang members in the U.S. Many of these juvenile gang members are said to have the highest involvement at 14. These are children who join gangs in search for protection from bullies, for family bonds they aren't experiencing at home, and for purpose in life.
These children must come to know their worth as humans made in the image of God. They must understand God's moral standards. They must grasp His grace through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ – before it's too late.
Regardless of what you have done in your life, redemption is provided to you through Jesus Christ. Just like EZ, even if you have done things you regret, God died for you. He can make you a new creation and save you from a terrible fate if you call out to Him. If you are broken over your sin, call out to God in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ that He will redeem you.
