Seminary in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. In this first lecture from the 2024 XL Conference,
Ian discusses the spiritual responsibilities of elders, the qualities and characteristics required
for eldership, and the significance of servanthood, humility, and faithfulness in church
leadership. Ian uses historical church figures to emphasize the foundational theological and
practical principles of being an elder.
